The Nigerian SCAM - How it Works and How to AVOID IT Print E-mail
Wednesday, 13 September 2006

What is this popular spam you keep hearing about in the news? And how it works.

The nigerian scam is a form of spam email where you receive what SEEMS TO BE a personal email from a person in another country, (Originally, the country would've been Nigeria, but now could be any country outside of the US).

The individual emailing you will claim to have some huge amount of unclaimed money that he would like to funnel to your US bank account and give you a generous percentage to assist him.

This is a SCAM. There hasn't been a single occurrence of anybody actually receiving any money. these guys take your bank information that you give them and ultimately take your money.

Just delete these emails, they are SPAM!
