This article is not to promote illegal use or piracy of Microsoft Windows XP...you are fully encourage to buy the real thing. RFUZ does not encourage piracy...this guide is meant for those that have the real thing but are left hanging because this glitch bug affected their website! Go to your "C" drive then open the "Windows" folder. Inside there is a folder called "System32", go in there and find the files named WgaTray.exe and wgalogon.dll. Right click on them and click rename and then rename them to WgaTray1.exe and wgalogon1.dll.
Now hit CTRL, ALT, DELETE to start up your Task Manager. Click on the tab called "Processes" and right-click on the process called WgaTray.exe. and click "End Process". A window might come up asking you if you're sure you want to end the task or process, just click "OK" if it does. Now restart your computer and the Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications will magically disappear.
